@ TMB Gold Mind Collective Posted Sep 2, 2025 • 2 min read Belmont, St. Vincent and the Grenadines  – World-famous siblings, the Melisizwe Brothers  – Marc, Seth, and Zacary – returned to their Vincentian roots this summer to host their celebrated Gold Mind Vocal Recording Camp , a three-week program blending artistry, mentorship, and industry training for the next generation of musicians. The camp, held at the Belmont Arts and Cultural Experience (BACE) Centre in Belmont, Windward , produced eight young artists , the youngest just 11 years old . Each participant left with a polished song carrying an international sound and standard , crafted to showcase their individual style. Although based in Canada, the Melisizwe Brothers proudly acknowledge their Vincentian heritage , describing the camp as both a homecoming and an investment in local talent. “This isn’t just about making music,” said Marc Melisizwe. “It’s about showing young artists how to turn creativity into an economic vehicle  and create opportunities for themselves.” Music Meets Business The camp went beyond performance and recording, giving participants vital lessons in the business side of the music industry  – from publishing and branding to navigating the global marketplace. Importantly, each camp member will register with ECCO  (Eastern Caribbean Collective Organisation for Music Rights), ensuring their songs are protected and capable of earning royalties across the Caribbean and internationally. The Melisizwe Brothers stressed that their goal was not to make promises but to produce authentic, high-quality songs  with international appeal. Event Centre  in Belmont, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The camp offers structured weekly programs designed for youth aged 8 to 22 , with a focus on music, performance, and skills development in the creative industries. Participants will engage in vocal and instrumental training  each week and will perform at the conclusion of each session during Friday Night Live  shows, held at the B.A.C.E. Event Centre. Each Friday will feature a high-energy live show with The Melisizwe Brothers  and a full band, where all participants are welcome to perform. The Melisizwe Brothers — Marc, Seth, and Zacary  — are full-time students at Berklee College of Music and are recognized for their appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show , America’s Got Talent , and Nickelodeon’s America’s Most Musical Family . The Yurumein Project , a not-for-profit organization focused on preserving Garifuna language, culture, and community advancement, recently concluded another impactful edition of Gold Mind Belize —an annual youth development initiative, now in its third year of collaboration with international music group the Melisizwe Brothers : Marc, Seth, and Zacary, founders of the TMB Gold Mind Collective , from Leduc, Alberta, Canada , and with parental heritage from Yurumein, St. Vincent and The Grenadines . Gold Mind Symposium. Ecumenical College, Dangriga, Belize. Gold Mind Belize 2025 centered around the theme of investing in relationships and building strong networks, a message delivered through a weeklong series of educational, cultural, and athletic engagements across the Stann Creek District and local communities. With support from schools and project collaborators, the initiative continues to inspire and empower youth while promoting heritage and leadership. The week featured a youth symposium at Stann Creek Ecumenical Junior College , an appreciation dinner for Yurumein Project members and supporters in Belize City , and the Gold Mind Symposium Concert  at Stann Creek Ecumenical High School —where the Yurumein Project Youth Arm , and the Melisizwe Brothers performed. The concert also raised funds in support of local athletes traveling to the 2025 Penn Relays , where students from Ecumenical High have competed since 2018. Additional outreach included school visits to Gulisi Community Primary  and St. Matthew’s Anglican Primary School , as well as the Annual 5K Walk/Run for SVG , hosted across Dangriga , Belize City , Orange Walk , and Punta Gorda . The event brought together supporters in a shared effort to raise funds for the Athletic Track Project —a long-term initiative led by the Yurumein Project to construct a synthetic running track in Southern Belize. Proceeds from the run also supported Stann Creek Ecumenical High School’s athletic team as they prepare to compete in the 2025 Penn Relays. Cultural Exchange, Seine Bight, Belize. Cultural preservation remained central to the tour, marked by the Honouring of Our Elders Ceremony , which paid tribute to the legacy and contributions of Garifuna elders. The week concluded with a Community Day in Seine Bight Village , where the community participated in activities of music, dance, and sports. This collaborative camp aims to provide a transformative one-week experience for aspiring musicians aged 7 to 16. A Musical Journey Awaits Sihle-Sizwe Marimba Band The Gold Mind Summer Intensive Music Camp Edmonton will feature a diverse range of workshops covering guitar, piano, marimba, voice, and drums. Moreover, the curriculum will emphasize the fundamentals of music theory, drawing inspiration from the Melisizwe Brothers' journey of learning to read music at a young age. Notably, the camp will feature a special music marketing session led by Marc Melisizwe. Marc holds a certification in Music Marketing from Berklee College of Music and is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in Music Business with Berklee College of Music. The Melisizwe Brothers have honed their craft through invaluable experiences, gracing grand stages with remarkable prowess. Their journey underscores the vital essence of forging one's path to success, where diligent preparation meets opportunity.
